Statistics released by the TUC suggest that three in five women have experienced sexual harassment at work, with two in five women experiencing at least three such incidents.

In our next retail-focussed seminar, we are holding a panel discussion about how retailers can protect their employees from sexual harassment and best practice in carrying out harassment investigations. Our panel speakers will also discuss the new duty to protect employees from sexual harassment at work and practical steps that all employers should be taking.

Joining Dan Fawcett, Christina Tolvas-Vincent and Nicola Allen from our experienced employment law team for the discussion will be Charlene Ashiru, a Barrister from Littleton Chambers. Charlene has significant expertise in conducting independent investigations into allegations of harassment, as well as handling Employment Tribunal cases about the subject.

We will be running the event on a hybrid basis from our London office, giving those of you able to attend in person the opportunity to network with HR and legal contacts in the retail sector.
